A space dedicated to all the moms out there who are balancing the ups and downs of motherhood while trying to keep it all together. I’m Brittany, the voice behind the podcast and the mom behind the mayhem. Like many of you, I’ve experienced the sleepless nights, the endless to-do lists, the meltdowns (both mine and my baby’s), and the occasional moments of triumph that make it all worth it.

Why This Blog Exists: A Safe Space for New Mothers

I created The Stressed Out Mom as a place to be real, raw, and honest about the challenges that come with being a parent. Whether you’re a new mom or a seasoned pro, this is a judgment-free zone where we can laugh, cry, and navigate the stress together. Through the podcast, blog posts, and resources, my goal is to provide encouragement, share stories, and remind you that you’re not alone in the craziness.

What You Can Expect: Real Talk, Real Tips, Real Support r

Here’s what you can expect from this blog:

  • Practical Tips and Advice: From managing sleep deprivation to creating a newborn-friendly routine, I will cover practical strategies to help you navigate the daily stresses of caring for a newborn. I will share tried-and-true tips for feeding, soothing, and bonding with your baby, as well as ways to care for yourself during this challenging time.

  • Personal Stories and Experiences: There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to motherhood. I will feature stories from mothers who have been through it — the highs, the lows, the moments of doubt, and the triumphs. These stories will remind you that you’re not alone and that every mother’s journey is unique and valuable.

  • Self-Care Strategies: Motherhood is often about putting your baby’s needs first, but your well-being is just as important. Together we’ll explore ways to nurture yourself, find moments of peace, and maintain your mental and emotional health. From simple relaxation techniques to self-care practices that fit into a busy mom’s life, I got you covered.

  • Building Your Village: I will discuss the importance of creating a support network — whether it’s your partner, family, friends, or online communities. I will provide resources on where to find support, how to ask for help, and why it’s essential to lean on others during this time.

  • A Compassionate Approach: Most importantly, this blog is built on compassion. I believe there is no “right way” to be a mother. We are all here to encourage eachother to trust your instincts, forgive yourself for any perceived shortcomings, and embrace every moment — even the tough ones — with grace.

My Mission: To Empower and Support Every New Mother

My mission is simple: to help new mothers navigate the challenges of caring for a newborn with less stress and more confidence. I believe that by sharing knowledge, fostering community, and providing encouragement, we can make the journey a little smoother. I want you to know that it’s okay to feel overwhelmed, to ask for help, and to take time for yourself.

Motherhood is not a test; it’s a journey ( and a chaotic one at that). It’s about learning, growing, and loving every day. I am here to remind you that you are strong, you are capable, and you are doing an amazing job, even when it feels like the world is falling apart (Lets blame that one on the hormones 😉 ).
